It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our dear Elena on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the age of 84. Loving and devoted wife of John for 68 years. Cherished mother of John (Lee), Rosanne (Andy) and Louisa (Larry). Proud Nonna of Melissa (Joey), Shawna (Mark), Michael, Michelle (Dean), Danielle (Chris), David (Hunter), Brent (Danielle) and Bis-Nonna of Avelina and Bennett. Dear sister of John (the late Melania), and Ida (the late Italo). Elena is now reunited with her parents Nicola and Consiglia. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews family and friends. Resting at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, (North of Rexdale Blvd.,) on Thursday from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, 45 Ludstone Drive, Toronto, on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 10:30am. Entombment Glendale Memorial Gardens.
