Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at Villa Forum Long Term Care Residence on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the age of 92. Predeceased by her husband Joseph. Loving mother of Keith, Emil and his wife Debbie, Carlyle and his wife Angela and Virginia and her husband Thaddeus Pinto. Cherished grandmother of Ryan, Neil, Matthew, Julia, Kaitlin, Sarah and Jaclyn and great-grandmother of Owen, Alyssa, Ella and Kate. Nita will be dearly missed by her sister Lucy Mascarenhas, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Toronto, (North of Rexdale Boulevard), on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 4pm-8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 2194 Kipling Avenue, Toronto, on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 10am. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
