de Vries, Luke August 18, 1949 - September 29, 2020 Passed away peacefully with the love of his family surrounding him. He is now home with his Saviour Jesus Christ. Loved and cherished husband of Kathy (McFadzean) de Vries. Much loved father of Adam (Anna), Melissa (Bill) Stewart, Rebecca, Robert (Natalie), Elizabeth (Mike) Robb, Stephanie (Stephanie Tibelius), Michael (Helen Wysocki) and Bitna Won. Luke leaves behind 14 loved grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his good friend Mark Scharringa. Predeceased by his parents William and Sylvia de Vries, brothers Lieuwe and Ted and sister Jane. Loved brother of Jerry (Tini), Fred (Maria), Lucy (John) Van Driel, Ann (Bill) Van Milligen, Karl (Margaret), Josie (Dick) Bertelink, John (Joanne), Sam (Linda), Grace (Charlie) Bouwman, Dan, Henry (Darlene), Hilda (Mike) Wasylyk and Shirley (Doug) Hastie. Luke left us with a legacy of faith. He was generous, honest, faithful, integral, hard working and a good example. He will be missed so very much. A public drive by will be held on Friday October 2, 2020 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Elora Road Christian Fellowship, 5696 Wellington Road 7, Guelph, Ontario. A private Funeral Service and Burial will be held.
