Blais, Pearl Anita [Molyneaux] - With deep sorrow the family announces the death of Mrs Pearl Blais on Sunday January 27, 2019 at the age of 89 years. Mrs Blais passed away at the Tri-Town Extendicare in Haileybury. Born on August 10, 1929 in Matheson to the late Charles Molyneaux and to the late Margaret Leskie, Mrs Blais was a long time Temagami resident. She will be remembered for her love of knitting and for her incredible cooking abilities. Mrs Blais was a dedicated and devoted member of St-Elizabeth Catholic Church in Temagami. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be sorely missed by all those whose life she touched. Predeceased by her parents, her husband Lorne Blais [2013], her daughter Julianne Blais, her grandson Robbie Mackey and by her siblings. Mrs Blais is the loving mother of Janet and her husband Raymond Theriault, James and his wife Susan Blais and Jason and his wife Shelly Blais. She is the cherished grandmother of Taylor, Krista, and Ashley. Also surviving is her sister Betty and her husband Maurice Morin, her brother Bob and his wife Helen Molyneaux as well as many extended family members. The family of the late Pearl Blais will welcome friends at St-Elizabeth Catholic Church in Temagami on Wednesday January 30, 2019 from 7:00 - 9:00pm and again on Thursday January 31, 2019 beginning at 10:00am. The funeral mass will follow at 11:00am. Father Rex Lumine officiating. Spring interment will take place at the Whispering Pines Cemetery.
