Pierre Nadeau Obituary

Nadeau, Pierre George 'Pete' - It is with profound sadness that Joyce announces the passing of her husband Pete Nadeau at the age of 74 years. Pete passed away on Sunday September 30, 2018 at the Temiskaming Hospital with his loving wife by his side. Pete was born on January 05 1944 in Noranda, Quebec to the late Gustave Nadeau and to the late Marie Rose Mercier. A man with a heart of gold whom always put the needs of others before his own, Pete loved his community and gave of himself selflessly, He was a member of the Cobalt and Coleman Fire Department's for a combination of 40 years of service. Pete was an employee of the Coleman Township Public Works for many years and had a good sense of humor, always joking with others (nothing too serious of course). After his retirement he got to enjoy more time fishing and to cut wood with his good friend Daryl. This included time spent in the 'Line Shack' where many jokes and stories were shared. Pete was a loving husband, brother, friend and neighbor. His presence will sorely be missed by all those who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Joyce Nadeau (nee White); by his brother Raymond and his wife Leona Nadeau and by his sister Yvette and her husband Richard Belanger. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members. The family of the late Pete Nadeau will receive family and friends at the Coleman Township Hall on Saturday October 06, 2018 at 1:00pm for a Celebration of Pete's Life. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Cancer Care. Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
