Peacefully at Temiskaming Hospital on Saturday, March 9, 2019 Walter “Roy” Addison of Thornloe passed away at the age of 71. Dear father of Cheryl Kelly, Roy Addison, Jeff Addison (Elisa Desjardins), Karen Addison and Rob Addison (Trish Steele). Will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Patrick and Raymond Reimer, Rowen Desjardins, Kendall Ashiru, Daniel Addison, Lily and Jack Fox, and Emmett Marcotte - Addison. Survived by his siblings Emmaline Sears, Emilie Booker and Glen (Harold) Bradley (Barb). Brother-in-law Alphonse Quennville and many other extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his infant son Kenny Addison; parents Albert (Frank) Addison and Muriel (Hewitt) Addison Wilson; his sisters Marie Smith, Frances Carleton Patricia Quennville and Glenice Addison; brothers-in-law William Carleton, Ross MacAinsh and Art Sears. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium. A celebration of life is to be held March 30th 2019. Venue to be announced. Roy was a self-employed auto mechanic who loved vintage cars. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends often playing guitar with his sister Pat joining him on vocals. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. D. Davies, the long-term care staff and all other support persons at Temiskaming Hospital for the wonderful care and support that they provided to Roy.
