Crooks, Bernice (nee Gogul) Passed away quietly on Wednesday September 14, 2011 at the Hotel Dieu Shaver in St. Catharines in her 97th year. Bernice is reunited with her husband Michael (Mickey), her sister Helen, her brothers Stan, John and Edward and her nephew Francis. She will be missed by her daughter of choice Eileen Palmer, her nieces Phyllis Kerkhoven, Carol Crooks and Janice McKendrick, and her nephews Ronald Gogul and Ronald Crooks, her many god-daughters and all the dear friends who supported her over the years. Bernice believed in supporting her community and church, and in lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the McMaster Geriatric Clinic. Bernice is resting at the P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1919 King St. East. Visitation and prayers will be Sunday, September 25th from 6-8pm.
