Anna Marion Douglas, of Lakelet, passed away at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 in her 88th year. Anna was the beloved wife of Stuart Douglas, and mother of Gary Douglas and his wife Kathy of Clifford, Marion Douglas of Calgary, Peter Douglas and his wife Joanne of Walkerton, and Stephen Douglas and his friend Jan Hartley of Lakelet. Remembered by her grandchildren Nathan Douglas and Tammie Simmons, Matthew Douglas and Ashley Nightingale, Megan Douglas, Carla Himmelman, Eric Himmelman and Jilly Nichol, Christopher Douglas and Shauna Rivest, Anthony and Marie Douglas, Jill and Martin Sadowski, and Ben Douglas and Stephanie Klages; and by her great-grandchildren Allanna, Rachael, Owen, Kaelyn, Quinn, Reid, James, Paige, Sadie, Jack and Bridgette. Sister of Ruth Herbst of Hanover, and Lorna and Perry Greenwood of Orangeville, and sister-in-law of Betty Ellis of Dorchester, and Stella Douglas of Clifford. Anna was predeceased by her sisters and brothers Phyllis Glaze, Jack Ellis, Betty Murawsky, and Bob Ellis. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday from 2:00 and 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held from Knox United Church, Clifford on Saturday, February 7th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jennifer Mountain officiating. Interment in Lakelet Cemetery. Memorial donations to Anna Douglas Sound System Fund of Knox United Church would be appreciated.
