Carl Newman ~ of Harriston, passed away at Saugeen Valley Nursing Center, Mount Forest on Friday, October 3, 2008 at the age of 70 years. Husband of Marjorie Newman and father of Carolyn Newman of Mount Forest, Jeff and Peggy Newman of Harriston and David Young of Kinloss. Grandfather of Karah Newman, Taylor Newman, Lucas Young and Stephanie Young. Brother of Clifford and Beth Newman of Millbank, Laverne Newman of Cardif, Melvin and Evelyn Newman of Edmonton, and Marilyn and Ken Schmidt of Kitchener. Predeceased by his son Bradley Newman, his grandchildren Stanley Newman and Mitchell Newman, by his brothers Edward Newman and his wife Rose, Harold Newman and his wife Doris, and David Newman and his wife Isabel, by his sister Lucille Rosenblath and her husband George and by his sister-in-law Roberta Newman Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, October 7 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
