Dorothy Irene (Gibson) Butler of Palmerston passed away at Royal Terrace, Palmerston on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008 at the age of 90. Dorothy was the wife of the late Alex Butler, and will be remembered by her nieces and nephews, Ina Belle & Ken Benjamin of London, George Gibson of Alberta, Brian & Ellen Sockett of Woodbridge, Glenda & George Dutsas of Woodbridge, Diane & Ralph Hymers of R.R.2, Clifford, David & Naydene Gibson of Sherwood Park, Alberta, and Brent Gibson of Durham; and by her great-nieces and great-nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her nephew Drew Sockett, her sister Velda Sockett and her brother Elvin Gibson. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Tuesday, Sept. 9 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mel Sauer officiating.
