Elva Mae (Hood) Reichard of Fordwich, passed away at Huronlea, Brussels on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 in her 96th year. Wife of the late Earl Reichard. Mother of Lois and Ralph Lee of Listowel, Iva Simmons of Acton, Paul and Leone Reichard of R.R.2, Gorrie, and Joan and Dennis Horton of Palmerston. Grandmother of Andrew Lee, Greg and Dawn Lee, Beth-Ann and Mike McIsaac, Mike Simmons, Paul and Michelle Simmons, Chris and Carrie Reichard, Scott Reichard and Sara Bistretzan, Angela Reichard and Derek Bender, Travis and Vanessa Horton, Troy and Shannon Horton, and Becky Horton, great-grandmother of Chase Lee, Conner Lee, Avery McIsaac and Gabrielle Crickard, Jack McIsaac, Geana McIsaac, Sierra Simmons, Brandon and Paige Simmons, Colby Reichard, Carson Reichard, Chloe Reichard, Caleigh Reichard, Jordan Reichard-Vallance and Dillon Vallance, Christopher Reichard, Ava Horton, Olivia Horton, Maeve Horton, Charlotte Horton, and McKenna Horton, and great-great-grandmother of Elliot McIsaac. Sister-in-law of Wray and Phyllis Vines, and Irene and Everitt Zurbrigg. Elva was predeceased by grandson Bruce Earl Reichard, great-grandson Austin John McIsaac, sisters Beatrice Bender and Helen Illing, and by her brother Howard Hood. A private family funeral service will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Saturday, May 30th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Don McCallum officiating.
