Elwood Douglas ~ of Harriston, passed away at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Harriston on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in his 85th year. Elwood was the son of the late Lorne and Arnetta Douglas. He was the husband of Marjorie Douglas, and father of Randy and Kim Douglas of Finch, and Karen Douglas of Edmonton, Alberta. Remembered by his grandsons Palmer and Charles Douglas and his sister Beatrice Gerrie and her husband Tom of Fergus. Brother-in-law of Alice Douglas of Harriston, Eleanor Hamilton of Mount Forest, Esther and Derril Hallman of Clifford, Anne Waymouth of Owen Sound, and Marion Behrns of Listowel. Survived also by his nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers Murray Douglas, and Harvey Douglas and wife Elaine, and by his sister Muriel Henry and husband Clarence. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 30th at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
