HAWKES, George of R.R. 3, Clifford and formerly of Toronto - passed away at his home on Friday, May 29, 2015 in his 80th year. George James Hawkes was the husband of the late Evelyn 'Eva' Hawkes and father of George Hawkes Jr. of Waterloo. Missed by his grandchildren Michael Hawkes and Christy Hawkes of Waterloo. Brother of Mary Hawkes of North Tonawanda, NY, and brother-in-law of Joe and Joanne Smith of Aurora. George was predeceased by his twin brother Richard Hawkes. Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston. Interment in Chilton Cemetery, Normanby Township.May 6, 1936 - May 29, 201505/06/193605/29/2015
