Gordon Rabb ~ of Harriston, passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, in his 95th year. Gordon was the beloved husband of Corry (Williamson) Rabb, and the father of Judy Watson of St.Catharines, and William ‘Bill’ Rabb and his wife Linda of London. Remembered by his grandchildren Robert Watson, Heather Poustie and her husband Mark , Jennifer Newby and her husband Josh, Dwaine Rabb and his wife Heather, and Mary-Colleen Rabb-Lawson and her husband Craig Lawson; and by his great-grandchildren Ethan Watson, Cameron Watson, Cole Poustie, Isla Poustie, Jack Newby, Eva Newby, Noelle Newby and Noelle Lawson. Brother of Joan Greenwood and her husband Lloyd, and Shirley Dennis, all of Harriston, and Helen Daniel of Toronto; and brother-in-law of Phyllis Rabb of London, and Stanley Williamson of London. Predeceased by his son-in-law Bob Watson, by brothers and sisters Reginald 'Bill' Rabb, MacLean Rabb and wife Jean, Allan Rabb and wife Doris, Phyllis Blacker and husband Jack, Abbie McAllister and husband Jack, by his brothers-in-law Charles Daniel, Harold Shannon and Ernest Dennis, and by his parents William and Nellie Rabb. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Masonic Lodge memorial service being held at 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, February 25th at 1:30 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment in Harriston Cemetery Memorial donations to Harriston United Church or Harriston Masonic Lodge # 262 would be appreciated.
