Husband of the late Irene (Mortimer) Copland and father of Kathleen Coutts and her friend Mike Rundle, and Robert Copland and his wife Anna, all of Mount Forest, Janet Hammar and her husband Tom, Douglas Copland, and Charlie Copland and his wife Marj, all of Minto Township, Wayne Copland and his wife Susan of St.Thomas, and Anna Marie Ellis and her friend Murray Gedcke of Listowel. Grandfather of Ken Coutts of Grand Bend, Karen and Kent Bresson of Fergus, Riley and Colleen Copland of Mount Forest, Laurie and Brian DeRoches of Guelph, Cassandra Hammar of Minto, Pat Hammar of Clifford, Scott Copland and Amy Rae of Mount Forest, Wendy Copland and Steve Topham of Kenilworth, Sherry and Ryan Allen of Mount Forest, Crystal Copland of Minto, Yvette and Brian Murphy of St.Thomas , Heidi and Richard Copland of St. Thomas, and Fabian and Adriana Ellis of Edmonton. Great-grandfather of Katelyn Coutts, Tyler Bresson, Trevor Bresson, Gavin Copland, Piper Copland, Jayden Hammar, Joshua Hammar, Brooklyn Copland, Savannah Copland, Sarah Allen, Dylan Murphy, Devon Murphy, Drew Murphy, Aiden Murphy, Addison Ellis, Emmerson Ellis, Alex Topham and Rachel Topham. Brother of Harvey Copland of Apsley, Howard and Phyllis Copland of Hamilton and Mildred Noble of Harriston and brother-in-law of Gwen Copland of Harriston and Percy Cox of Guelph. Predeceased by his sisters and brothers, Vereda Copland, Carman Copland, Lenora Jarvis, Thomas Copland, Vera Wilmer, Robert Copland, Dorothy Cox, James Copland, Fred Copland, Ira Copland and by a brother in infancy. A memorial service will be held from the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Sunday, June 15th at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
