JEAN McCLENNAN of Farewell ~ passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in her 81st year. Jean Isabel (Denny) McClennan was the wife of William McClennan, and dear mother of Larry and Debbie McClennan of Arthur, Joanne and Greg Evans of Elora, Randy and Chris McClennan of Temagami, Bruce and Kim McClennan of Mount Forest, and David and Theresa McClennan of Guelph. Remembered by her grandchildren, Jason and Jess McClennan, Adam McClennan and Crystal Hewittson, Shannon and Kevin Kopka, Shawn and Laura Stroh, Justin Lichty, Kris Evans, Mike Evans and Lisa Scott, Tiffany and Darren Jones, Brittany McClennan and Kyle Gillies, Brad and Samantha McClennan, Tara McClennan and Jim Checkley, Andrew McClennan, Nicole McClennan and Mark McClennan; and by her great-grandchildren Devon, Trevor, Ryden, Jaylynn, Dariene, Emily, MacKenzie, Austin, Taylor, Karissa, Myla, Madison, Mia, Emma, Liam, Alyssa and Makayla. She was the sister of Bernice Mahood of Fordwich, Ron Denny of Arthur, and Leonard and Barb Denny of Stratford, and sister-in-law of Doreen Denny of Stratford, Shirley Bouman of Brussels, Phyllis Denny of Listowel, Doreen and Frank Schueler of Mildmay, Wayne and Elaine McClennan of R.R. 2, Palmerston, and Audry McClennan and Brian Triebner of Kippen. Jean was predeceased by her brothers Eldon Denny, Bill Denny and Wylmer Denny, by her sister Betty Denny, and by her brothers-in-law Earl Mahood, Jack McClennan and Garry McClennan. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. with an Order of the Eastern Star memorial service at 6:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 7th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ed Charlton officiating. Interment in Palmerston Cemetery. Memorial donations to Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest would be appreciated.
