Joan Greenwood ~ At the Village of Winston Park, Kitchener, on Saturday, August 10, 2019, in her 89th year. Doris Joan (Rabb) Greenwood was the wife of the late Lloyd Greenwood (January 5, 2017). Mother of Keith Greenwood and his wife Mary Jo, Laurie Lee Greenwood and her husband Tom Covernton, Carolyn Witt and her husband Bruce, and Kirk Greenwood and his wife Treena, and mother-in-law of Sharon Greenwood. Remembered by her grandchildren Sondra and Brad Scott, Kendra Greenwood and Rick Snider, Derek Greenwood, Devon Greenwood and Candice Saunders, Garth Covernton, Evan Covernton, Ashley Witt and Kevin Jones, Rebecca Witt, Molly Greenwood and Sean Grogan, and Lily Greenwood and Chase Outland, and by her great-grandchildren Joshua, Trevor, Ainsley, Damian, Adley, Eliza, Oliver, and Wyatt. Sister of Shirley Dennis, and sister-in-law of Corry Rabb, Erland Greenwood, Ross Jackson, and Lorna Greenwood. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her son Ken Greenwood (August 4, 2019), great-grandsons Brett and Brayden Snider, brothers Gordon Rabb, Reginald 'Bill' Rabb and wife Phyllis, MacLean Rabb and wife Jean, and Allan Rabb and wife Doris, sisters Phyllis Blacker and husband Jack, Abbie McAllister and husband Charlie, and Helen Daniel and husband Charles, and by her brothers-in-law Harold Shannon, and Ernest Dennis. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Harriston United Church on Thursday, August 15th at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Jessica Cottrell officiating. Interment in Harriston Cemetery. Memorial donations to Harriston United Church or Palmerston & District Hospital would be appreciated.
