John Massey

MASSEY, John, formerly of Kincardine - passed away at Mill Creek Care Centre, Barrie on Sunday, October 28, 2012 in his 84th year. John was the husband of the late Lois (Chilton) Massey and father of Pam Baylis and her husband Joseph of Woodlands, Texas, David Massey and his wife Sandra of Barrie, and Kirk Massey and his wife Dolores of London. Remembered by his grandchildren Scott Baylis, Alison Baylis, Kristen Massey, Katharine Massey, Steven Massey, Lauren Massey and Nathan Massey. Brother of Douglas Massey of Hawaii. John worked in the brewing industry for over 50 years and was a brewmaster at Carling O’Keefe and Algonquin, as well as other breweries. The family enjoyed their holiday time at the family cottage in the Haliburton area. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Saturday, November 3rd for visitation from 12:00 Noon until the time of memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
