REIDT, Kenneth - passed away at his home in Minto Township on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in his 84th year. Ken was the beloved husband of Shirley (Denney) Reidt. Dear father of Richard Reidt of Fergus, Danny and Janet Reidt of Waterloo, Michael and Cheryl Reidt of Harriston, and Rusty and Chris Reidt of Barrie; and grandfather of Kelsey-Lynn Reidt, Jorin Reidt and Sheldon Reidt. Remembered by his sisters Ruth Angst of Harriston, Marion and Arnold Dally of London, and Gerry and Wilbert Dally of Mildmay, by his sister-in-law Margaret Reidt of Minto Township, and by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Nelson, Sheldon, Arnold and Elmer Reidt and by his sisters Celeste Ferguson, Eileen Angst, and Doris Oehring; and by his parents Henry and Matilda Reidt Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, August 11 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kathy Morden officiating. Interment in Harriston Cemetery. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Palmerston & District Hospital would be appreciated.
