Lydia Ann Martin Obituary

Lydia Ann Martin ~ ( February 10, 1945 - October 24, 2012 ) peacefully went to be with her Lord in her 68th year, in her home at R.R. 2, Clifford.


Lydia Ann was the beloved wife of Aden Martin since October 25, 1967. The dear mother of Lorne and Marilyn Martin of Floradale, Larry and Miriam Martin of Clifford, Murray and Eunice Martin of Madoc, Maurice and Catherine Martin of Clifford, and Linda Martin of Aylmer.


She will be lovingly remembered by her 13 grandsons and 13 granddaughters.


Surviving are her brothers and sisters, Aden and Viola Martin of Wallenstein, Oscar and Sarah Martin of Gowanstown, Elmeda Martin of Molesworth, Leonard and Almeda Martin of Glen Allen, Selina and Harvey Martin of Elmira, Florence and Clarence Frey of Elmira, and Eldon and Lena Martin of Wallenstein; and her brother-in-law Ervin and Sarah Martin of Mount Forest.


She was predeceased by her sisters Irene Martin and Mary Martin, her brothers-in-law Clarence Martin and Cleason Martin, her sister-in-law Amy Martin, by her 4 nephews, by her parents Irvin and Ellen Martin, and by Aden’s parents Cleason and Mary Ann Martin.


Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Moorefield Mennonite Church on Saturday, October 27th at 1:00 p.m.


Interment in Cedarvale Cemetery, Minto Township.
