Ruth McArthur ~ of Fordwich, passed away at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, October 7, 2011, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Don McArthur. Dear mother of Louise Douglas of Guelph, Janice and Bob Howitt of Fordwich, and Marie and Richard Dodd of Wasaga Beach. She will be remembered by her grandchildren Dawn Douglas of Guelph, Christine and Colin Anderson of Barrie, Lisa and Tyler Sage of Barrie, Jessica Dodd and her friend Chad of Barrie, Jennifer and Mike Pryzmant of Waterloo, and Angela and Kevin Meyer of Fordwich; and by her great-grandchildren Riley, Reese, Tyson, Brooklin, Matthew, Melissa, Cole, and Kayla. Predeceased by her granddaughter Darlene Douglas. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 11th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Sharon Lohnes officiating. Interment in Fordwich Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Fordwich United Church or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
