William Brears

William Brears ~ of Howick Township, passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, in his 78th year. Special friend of Lois Gilliland, and dear father of Linda Sloan of Edmonton, AB, Laurie Maher of Gorrie, Bill and Denise Brears of Cold Lake, AB, Donna and Dean Bossence of Mortlach, SK, and David and Elaine Brears of Howick Township. Bill will be missed by his 15 grandchildren, his great-granddaughter, and by his niecs and nephews. He was the brother of Irene Kaufman of Clifford, Betty Fischer of Kitchener, Arthur Brears of Minto Township, Earl and Beth Brears of Walkerton, Joan and Gerry Stockie of Kitchener, Jean Bignell of Kitchener, and Morley Brears of Howick Township. He was predeceased by his brother Gordon Brears and by his parents Balfour and Emily (Southern) Brears. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Sunday, December 6th at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Fordwich Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
