Mr. Michael Cournoyer
1955 - 2015

The family announces with deep sorrow his sudden death at the Anson General Hospital on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the age of 60 years. Cherished Husband of 37 years Suzanne (nee Bisson), and beloved Father of Kimberley (James Godby) Cournoyer of London, ON and of Kelly (Greg Brydges) Cournoyer of Toronto, ON. Mike is also survived by his Sister Jo-Anne (Roger Smith) Cournoyer of Barbers Bay, ON as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his Parents Leo and Tina Cournoyer.
Although we are going to miss him so much, we know he is happy playing music in the sky with all those he had been missing!
Family and Friends may call at Abitibi Funeral Services on Wednesday, November 25th from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., and on Thursday, November 26th from 2:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. A Celebration of his Life will be conducted on Thursday, November 26th at 3:30 p.m. at St. Anne’s Parish with the Reverend Father Léo Rancourt officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Ontario Lung Association or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
