In Loving Memory of Stanley Chircoski 1926-2013 It is with deep sorrow that the family announces his passing on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the South Centennial Manor at the age of 87 years. He will be lovingly missed by his children Kathy (Roger Hardy), Joseph (Candice St. Jean), Mary Lou, and Michael. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren; Anne, Adam, James, Alexandra, Hannah, Marisa, and Joshua, his great-grandchildren; Ava and Parker. Stan is also survived by his siblings; Melvin (Marilyn), Joyce (the Late Tom) Bown, and Larry, his sisters-in-law Pat and Claudette as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his Parents Joseph and Nora, his Wife Barbara, his children John and Karen, his Granddaughter Kelly-Anne and his Siblings; Jeanie, Clare (the Late Frank) St. James, Norman, John (Pat), and Ron (Claudette). Stan was extremely proud of his service with the Royal Canadian Navy, Carleton Division (1944-1946). He was a Life Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 70, and retired after 41 years of dedication to Abitibi Pulp and Paper working as a machinist. He was a dedicated fan of the Abitibi Eskimos as well as the Montréal Canadians, and was a long time resident and family member of the South Centennial Manor. Family and Friends may call on Friday, December 27th, 2013 at Abitibi Funeral Services, Iroquois Falls from 2:00-4:00 p.m and from 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. Anne’s Parish on Saturday, December 28th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Father Léo Rancourt Officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 70 Poppy Fund or to the South Centennial Manor and would be appreciated by the family.
