Beloved Husband of the Late Lois (2013), and loving Father of Jo-Anne (the Late Brian) Groulx of Mattawa, ON Gayle Lavoie of Iroquois Falls, and Michelle (Reg) Delaurier of Iroquois Falls . He will be forever remembered by her Grandchildren; David Groulx of Timmins, Kyla Groulx of North Bay, Tawnya (Brad) Vernon of Pennsylvania, Stephanie (Bill) VanLuven of Niagara Falls, Ashton Lavoie of Timmins, Zoë Delaurier of Iroquois Falls, and Quinn Delaurier of Iroquois Falls, and his Great-Grandchildren; Kade and Sophie Vernon. Edward is also survived by his siblings Joseph (Madeleine McLean) Bernier, and Albert (Rita) Bernier, both of Iroquois Falls, his Sisters-In-Law; Evelyne Bernier, Evi (Arthur Bernier), and Louise Bernier and his Brothers and Sisters-In-Law; Celestin Joseph, Gord (Peg) Lariviere and Shirley (Gerry) Boulanger as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his Parents Charles and Rose Delima Bernier, his Wife Lois, and his siblings; Irene Duchêsne, Charles Duchêsne, Marie-Jeanne Bernier, Melina (John) Vachon, Paul (Margaret) Bernier, Eugene Bernier, Margaret (Isidore) Lepage, Thérèse Joseph, Arthur Bernier, and Lucien Bernier. A Memorial Mass will be conducted on Saturday, May 23rd, 11:00 a.m. at paroisse Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens with the Reverend Father Léo Rancourt officiating.
