In Loving Memory of Mr. George Burey 1940 – 2014 The family announces with sorrow his passing at the Anson General Hospital on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the age of 73 years. Beloved Husband of 50 years of Denise (nee Lamothe), and cherished Father of Carolle (Don Mousseau) Burey of Timmins and Louise Burey of Iroquois Falls. He will be forever remembered by his Grandchildren; Melissa (Brandon) Fennell of Porcupine, ON and Marc (Kayla Howson) Cyr of Timmins. George is also survived by his Sister Stella Bourdage of St. Catherines, ON, his Sister-In-Law Yvette Burey of Timmins, and his Step-Sister-In-Law Claudette Bennoit of Timmins, his God Son Luc Burey of Timmins, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his Daughter Stella Moreau, his siblings; Stella Burey and Donald Burey, his Parents Arthur and Bernadette Burey, his Step Mother Mary, and his Step-Siblings; Jim Bennoit and Jean (Woody) Sanftenberg. Family and Friends may call at Abitibi Funeral Services on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be conducted on Monday, June 16, 2014 at 12:00 a.m. at paroisse Sts Martyrs Canadiens, Iroquois Falls with the Reverend Father Léo Rancourt officiating.
