In Loving Memory of Mr. George ‘Zbygniew’ Sowa 1938 - 2013 It is with heartfelt sorrow that his family announces his passing, in his home on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Beloved husband of the Late Ellen (2003) and cherished Father of Elizabeth Sowa of Iroquois Falls, Rosemarie (Morley Gordon) Sowa of Sudbury, Derrick Sowa of Brampton, and Selina (Lee) Jeanneault of Sudbury. He will be forever remembered by his Grandchildren; Ashley, Austin, Deanna, Dana, Spencer, Stephanie, and Lauren. George is also survived by his siblings; Helen Kotewicz of Scotland, ON, Alfreida (the Late Stan) Rudnicki of Brantford, Ziggy (Sharon) Sowa of Iroquois Falls, Stella (Harold) Welton of Brantford, Irene (the Late Glen) Belinger of Brantford, and Jenny (Bob) Meade also of Brantford, his sister-in-law Beulah Sowa of Iroquois Falls as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Bill, his brothers-in-law Stan and Glen as well as his parents Wojciech and Rosa Sowa. A Celebration of his life will be held in his house on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be appreciated by the family.
