Loving husband of 57 years of Vivien (nee Leduc). Cherished Father of Marc (Wendy) of Welland, Sylvie (Bob) of Iroquois Falls, Linda of Port Elgin, and Susan (John) of Iroquois Falls. Beloved Grandfather of Sharon Giroux, Shawn Giroux, Michelle McQuoid, Darcy Giroux, Randelee MacDonald and Alexandra MacDonald. Gib also leaves seven great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Gilles (Lynne), Huguette, Maurice (Andrea), and Diane (Gord) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Gib is predeceased by his parents Hervé and Gilberte Giroux, his granddaughter Jennifer McQuoid, his brother-in-law Jean-Guy, his sister-in-law Judy and his baby brother Noël.
