In Loving Memory of John MacDonald 1949 - 2011 The family announces with sorrow, his death on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Anson General Hospital, Iroquois Falls, ON. Loving and devoted Husband of 25 years of Lydia, and Cherished Father of Catherine (Estranged) and Heather (Jason) Popoff of Oshawa, ON., and to his stepchildren John (Rosa) Newport of Cambridge, ON and Daniel (Svenjia) Newport of Toronto, ON. John will be forever remembered by his siblings; Richard (Joanne) MacDonald of Lethbridge, AB, Irene (Brian) Coggins of Port Hope, ON, and Heather MacDonald of Hodgins, MB. He is also survived by his Mother Marguerite MacDonald, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his Father Bruce MacDonald. In keeping with John’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Dance will be held at the Connaught Community Center in the spring of 2012.
