Mr. Réal Souckey 1941 -2014 It is with great sadness that the family announces his death in his home on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the age of 72 years. Beloved Husband and best friend of Louisette (nee Lauzon). He was the Cherished Father of Gérard (Stella) Souckey of Iroquois Falls, André (Huguette) Souckey of Iroquois Falls, Angèle (Serge) Souckey-Carrière of Timmins and Nathalie (Stephen) Martel of Cochrane. Réal’s memory is forever in the hearts of his grandchildren; Terri (Gilles) Pietla of Iroquois Falls, Matthieu (Shannen) Caron of Timmins, Manon (Victor) Charbonneau of Timmins, Marc (Jennifer) Souckey of Timmins, Joël (Venessa) Souckey of Timmins, Carissa McLean of Iroquois Falls, Monica McLean of Iroquois Falls, Rebecca McLean of Iroquois Falls, Sabrina Carrière of Timmins, Logan Caron of Timmins, Xavier Caron of Timmins, Kingsten Wing of Timmins, Madeleine Charbonneau of Timmins, Beau Charbonneau of Timmins, Emmah Souckey of Timmins, Kallie Souckey of Timmins, Milah Souckey of Timmins, Lakeshia Henry of Montréal, Marissa Martel of Cochrane, Zachary Martel of Cochrane, and Nicholase Martel also of Cochrane. He is also survived by his siblings; Claudette Cosens of Iroquois Falls, Pierre (Susan) Souckey of Hoyle and Lorraine Hodgins of Iroquois Falls, his Sister-In-Law Kathleen Souckey of South Porcupine as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Réal was predeceased by his Parents Rhéal and Jeanne D’Arc Souckey, his Granddaughter Tammy Pietla, his siblings; Lillianne Girard and Léo Souckey, and his Brothers-In-Law; Bob Cosens and Russell Hodgins. A Funeral Service will be held at paroisse Sts Martyrs Canadiens, on Wednesday, April 9th, 2014 at 11:00 a.m., with The Reverend Father Léo Rancourt officiating.
