In Loving Memory of Ronald Harvey-Rankin 1995 – 2015 Passed away suddenly in his home in Val Gagné, Ontario, on August 6, 2015. He was born in New Liskeard on July 29, 1995, to Kimberly Rankin and Kelly Harvey. Educated in Iroquois Falls, he graduated from Iroquois Falls High School in June 2015. He had been working at Tim Hortons for the summer. Mr. Rankin was an avid skateboarder and spent many hours at the Carter Antila Memorial Skate Park. He enjoyed fishing and skiing and competing in triathlons. He was involved as a drummer with the #792 Maj. Wm. McCarthy Air Cadets for many years. ‘Spike’ was always the life of the party and was always the rock when a friend was in need. He will be missed by family and friends forever. Ronald is survived by his father Kelly and stepmother Chantal Bourgeois, and mother Kimberly and stepfather Didier Brazeau; sister Jessica Brazeau; stepbrother Alexander Auger-Brazeau; grandparents David Birtch and Marie Hewitt, Mike and Myrna Harvey, aunts and uncles Sasha Harvey (Philip Green) and Robin Rankin. Family and Friends are invited to gather at the Abitibi Curling Club, 729 Synagogue Ave., Iroquois Falls on Saturday, August 22 from 1:00 – 2:00 followed by a Celebration of his Life at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the New Liskeard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Neonatal Unit, Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and would be appreciated by the family.
