Regnerus, George Robert (November 14th, 1968 - July 14th, 2017) With deep felt sympathy, we are saddened to announce the passing of George Regnerus, at the Hamilton General Hospital, at the age of 48. Beloved husband of 25 years to Sharon (nee Massie), loving father to Mackenzie, Daniel, Evan, and Alex. Cherished son to Thea, and the late George Sr., and beloved son-in-law to Edwin Massie and the late Elaine. George was loved by his sister and brothers, Christina and Mark Demik, Dan and Val, Tim and Andrea, and sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Neil Whitwell. George was a wonderful uncle and loved dearly by his nieces and nephews Meagan and Jack, Annika and Alena; Samantha, Danielle, Clayton and Georgia. George was an outgoing person who loved the Lord, adored his family, and enjoyed the outdoors, engines, farming, playing piano in his band “Cheapside” and surrounding himself with friends. George will be missed by dear friends Brian and Marsha Berkel, Howard and Amanda Strobosser and their families. Visitation will be held at York Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 33 King Avenue in York on Tuesday, July 18th from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. Close family and friends are asked to meet Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Maranatha CRC to join us for the interment service at St. Johns Anglican Church Cemetery. The remembrance service will follow at Maranatha CRC at 11:00 a.m. In George's memory, donations to the Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome (SADS) Foundation or towards an education fund for his children would be appreciated.
