Bergsma, Ibe. Peacefully from Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, The Lord received his beloved child Ibe in His loving arms on Monday, March 26, 2018. Ibe Bergsma of Townsend, husband of the late Shirley (nee Hogeveen), in his 90th year. Beloved father of the late Joanne (Charlie) Deboer, Susan (Cory) Visser, Debbie (Henry) Kok and Lori-Ann (Joe) Vaz. Proud Pake of 15 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Brother and brother-in-law of Anna (Hendrik) Vaartjes of Holland, Aaltje Bergsma of Holland and Tina Bergsma of Jarvis. Also survived by Shirley's siblings Ann, Frances and Andy. Predeceased by his siblings Jelle (Shirley) Bergsma, Aan Bergsma, Mildred (Anne) Wobbes, Evert (Ann) Bergsma, Linze Bergsma and his stepbrother Geert Jongsma. Ibe worked at Livingston Industries (TDS) for over 30 years and in his retirement fell in love with fishing and spent many days on the pier in Port Dover. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Following a private family committal service at Knox Presbyterian Church Cemetery, the Memorial Service for Ibe will be held at Kingsway Christian Church, 3776 Highway 3, Balmoral on Thursday, March 29 at 11 am.
