de Beer, Mike. Peacefully at his home on Monday, January 14, 2019, The Lord took Home his child Mike de Beer of Jarvis, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Rose for 52 years. Dear father of Jason de Beer of Brantford, Patricia and Bill Ingram of Mansfield, Meredith de Beer and her husband Rick Schumacher of Cambridge and Melissa de Beer of Brampton and the late Michael (1977). Pake of Adrian, Jesse, Meghaan, Evan, Elise and Adam. Brother and brother-in-law of Reinou (the late Siep) Wiersma, Fred and Margaret de Beer, Anne and Clarence Posthumus, Sylvia and Sid Weening, Tina and Bill VanderVelde, twin sister Nancy (the late Joe) VanderKooi, Susan and Jim Verkaik, the late Dorothy Bell, Maria and Paul Cassidy, Frances de Beer and Kevin Herb, Andy and Jean de Beer, Peter Hogeterp (the late Ruth), Louis Bill (the latte Martha), Clarence and Pat Hogeterp and Hazel and Larry Schipper. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot St. W., Jarvis on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service for Mike will be held at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, Jarvis on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Knox Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Donations to 'Indwell' which provides affordable housing,would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Dr. Philip Drijber and staff, all the medical staff at Hamilton General Hospital Cardiac Care Unit.
