Peacefully at home after a short battle against cancer, on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Ray Weaver of Sweets Corners, dear husband of Janet (nee Fess), in his 73rd year. Loving father of Joel Weaver and Robin and her husband Darren Bouman of Jarvis. Proud Grampy of Katie and Jenni Bouman. Brother of Carol, Brian and David Weaver. Son-in-law of Doris and the late Fay Fess and brother-in-law of Dawn and Ted Swent, Vicky and Ernie Touesnard and Christine and John Lamb. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Leslie and Margaret Weaver and his brother Albert (Spike) Weaver. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis, on Thursday, September 7 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The funeral service for Ray will be held at Cooper Funeral Home on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11 o'clock. Interment, Selkirk Union Cemetery. Donations to Selkirk Christian Chapel or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
