With profound sadness, but also with tremendous gratitude for her life, the family of Alice May Sullivan (nee Brohart) share the news of her passing on Monday, November 16, 2020 in her 89th year at Valley Manor Nursing Home in Barry’s Bay, ON. Beloved wife of the late Cyril James Sullivan. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Joan (Arthur) Hankey, Wayne (Claire) Sullivan, Sharon (Kenneth) Telford, Barry (Patti) Sullivan, Leanne (Alan) Cummings, Donald (Teressa) Sullivan. Predeceased by her precious daughter Judy (Shawn) McGrath. Dear Grandmother of Christopher, Kathryn, Lisa, Kyle, Alexandra, Matthew, Michael, Mark, Sarah, Todd, Dillion, April and Wil. Adoring Great Grandmother of Hayden, Chase, Beth, Jayden, Alyana, Zoe and Brynn. Sincerest appreciation to Cathy Blumquist and her staff at Assisted Living who gave our mother wonderful support, help and assistance. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Valley Manor Nursing Home for opening their arms to make mom’s “home away from home” as welcoming as possible and providing her with excellent care. Thank you to Dr. Tiedje and his staff for taking the time to listen and providing her medical care and support. Professional services have been entrusted to the care of Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions a private family funeral will be held at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church. Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation (Valley Manor Building Fund) or St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church.
