Deslaurier, Benjamin (Ben, Benji) David Peacefully in Hospice Renfrew, on July 28, 2016, with his family by his side. Ben was in his 57th year. Cherished husband of the late Corrine Guest (2003). Loving and devoted father to Rebecca (Rob Poulin). Much loved son of Muriel Freamo and the late Harvey DesLaurier and son-in-law of Lawrence and Estelle Guest. Dear brother of Trish Sammon and uncle to Jake and Taitum. Special friend of Lynn Bennett and family. Ben will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Visitation will be held at McPhail and Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munro Ave. E., Renfrew, on Tuesday, August 2 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 3 from 10-10:45 a.m. A Celebration of Ben’s Life will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 3 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of ashes at Haley Station Cemetery. Donations to Hospice Renfrew or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
