Our loss is heaven’s gain. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lloyd Regan, peacefully at home on Thursday, January 21, 2021 after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his family. Lloyd was born in Renfrew, Ontario on September 8, 1947 and grew up in Ferguslea to the late Patrick & Alice Regan. Loving husband of JoAnn Regan (Remus) for 47 years, father of Paul (Kerrie McMillan), Kerri, and Stephanie (Steven) Jessup. Doting Papa to Hope & Taylor Jessup, Harper Regan and his chosen granddaughters Hannah, Holly & Haylee McMillan. Predeceased by brothers Kenneth (late Irene), Gary (Rose), Donald (Shirley), Earl (Dianne), Jack, Ronnie (Dale), and Bill (Judy). Lovingly remembered by brother Barry (Diane), sisters Margaret (Bernard) Gerritse and Sandra, brother-in-law Eldon (Janice), special friend Nelson (Judy) Kunopaski, many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Lloyd worked for more than 50 years in the construction industry, operating heavy equipment from Ottawa to the Beaufort Sea. Lloyd and his wife JoAnn have resided at Lyndock Lakes for more than 30 years. Lloyd's final care and cremation has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions services will be postponed to the spring time. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Madawaska Valley Hospice (St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation) or the Lyndock Baptist Church in memory of Lloyd. Dr. Christina Canil, from the Ottawa Hospital Regional Cancer Centre, the chemotherapy team at Renfrew Victoria Hospital, the nurses from Bayshore Homecare Solutions with a special thanks to Kirsten and Emma and the wonderful care of the Madawaska Valley Health Team.
