Peacefully on Saturday April 10, 2021 at the Groves Park Lodge, Bernice Lyon (nee Phillips) passed away at the age of 73. Daughter of the late Dayton and Isabelle Phillips. Beloved wife of Elliott Lyon. Loving mother or Jennifer Lyon (Dennis Lewis) and Shawna Barkey. Grandmother to Morgan, Carter and Darren Barkey. She will be missed by her siblings Darwyn Phillips (Barb), Allan Phillips (Wendy), Dwayne Phillips (Bev), Beryl (Nick Scerba), Kevin Phillips (Pat) and Todd Phillips (Roxanne). She is predeceased by her brothers Delmer and Greg. Bernice will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:30pm. (Due to the COVID-19 restrictions there are limited numbers of people who can attend. Everyone must RSVP to attend the visitation and the funeral service. Masks must be worn inside the funeral home at all times.) A Funeral Service will be held in the Zohr Family Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00pm.
