Gertrude Berger (Kumm) May 26, 1924 - September 27, 2019 Passed from this world, peacefully in her sleep. Mom lived most of her life on the family homestead in Grattan Township and Eganville, pleased to spend her final years at Fairfields with the thankful support of the caring team at this community facility. Mom lived a simple life dedicated to her family, her church and her community. Left to mourn are her four sons, William “Bill” (Janet) Berger, John “Jack” (Holly) Berger, Brian (Ruth) Berger, Paul (Lynn Anne) Berger, her eldest sister Berndena Karau, as well as her youngest sister Magdalene Horman. She will be remembered by her many grandchildren and great grand children. Gertrude is predeceased by sister Rita Wise, brothers Wilmer Kumm, Reginald Kumm, Earl Kumm, William Kumm and parents William and Mathilda Kumm. Family will be receiving condolences and expressions of sympathy Thursday, October 3, 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville followed by Funeral Service at Grace Lutheran Church, Eganville on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11am. Interment will take place at Grace Lutheran Cemetery followed by a celebration luncheon at Grace Lutheran Church Hall. Those desiring donations may donate to the Eganville and District Senior Needs or Grace Lutheran Church.
