Evelyn Gilchrist of Cobden (March 20,1937 – October 7,2019) passed away peacefully in Renfrew Victoria Hospital in her 83rd year. Daughter of the late William and Louise Gilchrist (nee Hanniman). Predeceased by brothers Wellington, Cecil, Russell, and Carl and sister Nina (Lorne Last). Survived by sisters-in-law Lila, Ruby, Thelma and Lois. Evelyn will be sadly missed many nieces and nephews especially Harold and Susan Gilchrist and their family. A private family graveside service was held at Cobden Union Cemetery on Thursday October 10, 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Renfrew or Admaston Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
