Harold Kranz

Harold Herman Kranz December 5, 1925 - May 29, 2015 Harold was born on the family farm in Deacon, Ontario. He was the son of the late Herman & Mary Kranz (Okum). Left to mourn his loss is his best friend and wife of 53 years, Barbara (O’Reilly), his daughter Kimberly, grandson’s Rogan & Liam Laforest and his best hunting companion, Gerry Laforest. He is also survived by his youngest sister, Lois Marshall. Harold was predeceased by his brother Norman and sister Marilyn Dickieson. Harold worked for about 31 years for the MTO. He had a zest for life, a great sense of humour and an infectious laugh. He was a lifetime active member of the Killaloe Lions Club. He will be greatly missed by many relatives, hunting buddies and friends both in Canada and Florida. Visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Visitation will also continue Tuesday morning from 9:30- 10:30. Thence to St. John’s United Church, Golden Lake for a funeral service at 11am. Interment at Golden Lake United Cemetery. In memory of Harold, donatons to St. John’s United Church Golden Lake or the St. Francis Memorial Hospital Foundation/Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family and can be made on-line at www.zohrfuneralhome.com
