EDGAR, Helen Eva (nee Denike) After many years of health challenges faced with her courageous tenacity, Helen passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011 in the early morning at the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital, at the age of 82. Helen Edgar of Arnprior, formerly of Renfrew. Beloved wife of Doug for 62 years. Loving mother of Elaine Senack (Walter), Karen Lyons (Garry) and Heather Edgar-Hawk (Bob). Proud grandmother of Jason Senack (Nadeen), Christopher Senack (Laurie), Sara Thomssen (Henning), Melissa Lyons and Alexandra Edgar-Hawk. Lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren Victoria, Matthew, Molly, Braden and Dirk. Dear sister of Evelyn King (late Dave). Predeceased by her brother Harold, and infant brother Jimmy. Helen will be missed by many relatives and friends. Resting at McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munro Ave. E (at Lorne St.) Renfrew on Sunday, May 29, 2011 from 2 – 5 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Rosebank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bonnechere Manor Auditorium Fund or Trinity St. Andrew’s United Church would be appreciated by the family.
