STACEY (WILSON), Janet Evelyn (nee Crozier) Passed away peacefully at Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Friday, January 9, 2015 with family by her side, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of Frank. Loving mother of Sharon Martin (Byron) of Ottawa, Brian Wilson (Kathy) of Ottawa, and the late Richard Wilson, and step-mother of Rod Stacey (Bobbie), Angela Stacey (Steve White), and the late Jeffrey Stacey (Wendy). Proud Grandma of Julie Officer (David), Emily and George Martin (Caroline), Pamela, Laurie and Graham Wilson, Kevin, Shannon, Jennifer and Katie Stacey, and Great-Grandma of Dominick, Danny, Campbell, Sadie, Rylan, Reece, Gemma, and Chloe. Dear sister of the late Aileen Patterson (late Donald), Marion McWade (late Jim), Muriel Buttle (late Russ), Glen Crozier (Aileen), Beattie Crozier (Ruby), Joan Bromley (Ken), Sybil Ferguson (late Ron), Donna Pettigrew (Mackie), Joe Crozier (late Connie) and Joyce Bell (late Ralph). Predeceased by her siblings Harry Crozier (Millie), Doris O’Donoghue (late Gerald). Daughter of the late Percy and Sadie Crozier. Janet will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Janet lived her life with energy, passion and a commitment to family and community. She was an accomplished political, community and family organizer, a businesswoman, owner of The Churchill Arms, an Ottawa landmark in the 70's and 80's. Janet lived life with style and grace. Visiting at McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munroe Ave. E., Renfrew on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to PIPR (Partners Investing in Parkinson's Research) through ohfoundation.com or to the Northcote United Church.
