Laura Tomasini (Courrier - Berry) passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in her 93rd year. Born in Ivy, Ontario on November 8, 1927. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Tomasini. Loving mother of Barbara Tomasini, Patricia (Zenon) Machowski, Anthony (Anita), Bernadette (Malcolm) Foy, Michael, Angela (Wayne) Cybulski, Marina (Gerry) Burchat, Sylvia (Robert) Burchat, Francis (Maureen) and Adrian (Michelle). Predeceased by daughters Monica - 2007 (Terry) Laginskie and Mary - 1952 in infancy. Daughter of the late Annie Courrier and William Berry, and foster daughter of William and Jessie Campbell. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Dorothy (Betty) Ayecliffe, George Courrier, Percy Berry, Charles Berry, Eva Potten, Jessie Montgomery, Kathleen (Kay) Brunette, Dorothy (Dot) Brunette, Laurance Berry, and Dr. William (Bill) Berry, and foster brother Malcolm (Mac) Campbell. Survived by her dear brothers Ron (Dorothy) Berry, Ralph (the late Marie) Berry and Ed (Shirley) Berry. Very proud and dear Nana of 44 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren. She was an inspiration to everyone. Her faith was lived out through service and dedication to the Church, her family and others. She was a blessing and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm. A private family Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Casimir's Catholic Church, Round Lake. Interment, St. Casimir's Catholic Cemetery. In memory of Laura, please consider a Mass at St. Casimir's or a donation to the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.
