Suddenly on Monday, March 29th, 2021, Leonard Dooley passed away leaving his three young children, Karley, Kendra, and Erik to grieve. He is survived by Krystal, father-in-law Barry, and brother-in-law Junior. Len was a very proud father who loved like no other and had shown his love in different ways than most. Between Len and Krystal, they created beautiful children who were his most greatest accomplishments. These three children were everything to him. Len’s favourite things to do were fishing with his children, tasting all of Karley’s kitchen creations (which he loved and even gained some extra pounds), listening to Kendra sing, and watching Erik play on the PlayStation. Len was the greatest at telling Dad jokes. He had one every time one of the kids were feeling down, Karley walked by him, or when one of the kids were trying to be serious. He was hilarious and we loved him for this. He loved fiercely and we loved him fiercely. We weren’t alone for loving him; he had so many friends who loved him dearly and he loved them as well. Over the last few years, his health began to decline and so did relationships that he had and one thing that couldn’t change was the love he had for me (Krystal). He was a changed man at the end and not many were able to see his changes. We are so very proud of him. He was an accepting man, patient, for the most part, loving, compassionate when he needed to be, hilarious and smart as can be. He died a very proud Daddy. We miss him so very much and are intending in following Len’s final wishes. With that being said, no public service will happen. Cremation services have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. When the children are ready, if they choose, a private memorial will take place.
