Marlene Marian Borutski

Marlene Marian Borutski (nee Cashubec) passed away peacefully with her husband and 2 children by her side on January 8 2021 at a Renfrew Victoria Hospital at the age of 73. She was born September 16, 1947 in Killaloe. She worked at the Bank of Commerce in Killaloe and in St Catharines, Ontario before returning back to Round Lake Centre where she worked at the Bank of Montreal in Barry’s Bay. She was also a Trustee with the RCRCSSB and proudly served for 32 years, up until her passing. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Casimir’s Parish in Round Lake Centre and was very active in the church choir and Respect For Life group. Marlene loved to sing, play piano and loved hunting fishing and camping with her family in her younger years. Marlene’s Faith in the Lord Jesus was paramount in every aspect of her life Marlene will be missed by her husband of 51 years Raymond, her daughter Pamelyn and her son Bradley. She is also survived by her 7 younger siblings, Judy, Gary, Ernest, Kevin, Lorraine, Eugene and Maureen along with their spouses. She will forever be remembered by many nieces, nephews and her cat Cuddles. Marlene was pre deceased by her mother Agnes Cashubec (nee Mask) and her Father Joseph Cashubec of Killaloe. Professional services have been entrusted to the care of Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, private family only arrangements will be held and a celebration of Marlenes life will be held at a later date, with Interment of ashes in St Casimir's Parish Cemetery, Round Lake Centre. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the St Francis Valley healthcare Foundation in memory of Marlene.
