WILSON, Ronald Ira (former owner of Wilson’s Telephone) Passed away peacefully at Renfrew Hospice, on Friday, April 27, 2018 with his family by his side. Loved son of Beatrice and the late Ira Wilson. Much loved husband and best friend of Louise (nee Beaulne). Cherished father of Terence (Alissa), Christina (Dave) Howard and Curtis. Proud grandfather of Jackson, Abigail, Delilah and Aubrey Wilson, Ethan and Lorelai Howard, Cheyenne (and her mother Rebecca) Wilson. Ron will be remembered by his siblings Brenda Wilson, Ila (Pat) Murphy, Barrie (Bev), Nancy (late Fern) Martin, his sisters-in-law Suzanne (late Pete) Aubry and Dianne (Mike) Parisien and many nieces and nephews. Ron, affectionately known as “Sugar”, was a strong contributor to the McNab minor ball and hockey communities. Many thanks to Dr. DeJesus as well as staff and volunteers at Renfrew Hospice for the care and compassion they gave Ron and our family during this very difficult time. Family will receive friends at McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munroe Ave. E., Renfrew on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Renfrew Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
