Underwood, Alan “Al”, of Kincardine, passed away at Trillium Court, on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Marian Underwood (née Orr). Dear father of Debby (Jim) McMullen of Parry Sound, Kathy (Doug) Puddicombe of Holland Landing and Jamie (Vicki) Underwood of London. Loved grandfather of Katelyn (Richard), Bethany (Chris), Brett, Krista (Alex), Brianna and Brayden and great-grandfather of Casen and Brooklyn. Brother-in-law of Merle Underwood of Wingham, Marg Underwood of Gorrie, Margaret Reid of Ripley, Eilean (Jack) Ribey of R.R. #4 Paisley, Lois Kerr of Harriston, Harvey Orr of Kincardine, Vera Orr of Kincardine and Mary Orr of Ripley. Predeceased by his brothers Glenn and Murray Underwood, brothers-in-law Howard and Bob Orr, Leonard Reid and Bob Kerr. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Friday, December 5, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine, on Saturday, December 6, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Kathy Fraser officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
