MacKinnon, Alan “Al” Donald, of R.R. #1 Tiverton at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine, on Thursday, May 26, 2011 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Margaret “Marg” MacKinnon (née Hutton). Dear father of John (Margaret) MacKinnon of Kincardine and Catherine MacKinnon (Jeremy Luyt) of Port Elgin. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Katlynn and Danielle MacKinnon and Shaylynn Luyt. Loved brother of Archie MacKinnon (Catherine Eddy) of Guelph and George (Agnes) MacKinnon of R.R. #5 Goderich. Predeceased by brother Jim MacKinnon and sister-in-law Gene MacKinnon. Survived by sisters-in-law Ruth MacKinnon of Petawawa and Helen and Bob Finlayson of Kincardine. Sadly missed by one niece and six nephews and predeceased by one nephew. Visitation at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine, On, N2Z 1Z5, (519)396-2701, on Sunday, May 29, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Monday, May 30 at 1:00 p.m. with Betty Elliott officiating. Interment Tiverton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House or charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
